Dr. Yoeny Calas – Dobson DVM (1958 – 2020)
With heavy hearts, we mourn the loss of our founder, colleague, mentor and friend, Dr. Yoeny Dobson (aka The Pet Diva) who has passed away.
She was a beautiful soul with a huge passion for animals. She originally founded Riverwoods Pet Hospital in June of 2000. She quickly became one of the few doctors in Utah county to see exotics. She loved working with birds, reptiles, pocket pets and wildlife along with dogs and cats. She also loved incorporating her knowledge and skill of Traditional Chinese Medicine with her treatments. Her dedication to her patients was unwavering and inspiring. Her vibrant soul will be missed by so many that knew and loved her dearly.
